Our toner replaces water with birch juice (76% concentration), a skin-soothing and hydrating tree sap. Birch juice contains 17 amino acids, antioxidants, enzymes, minerals, proteins and vitamins, including Vitamin B3 and skin-brightening Vitamin C. Glycolic and lactic acid remove dead skin cells, bringing forth fresh skin, counteracting hyperpigmentation and reducing sun damage. Our toner contains a 1% concentration of acids that it is effective but still gentle enough for daily use. This anti-aging plant extract reduces inflammation and fine lines, as well as hydrates and protects the skin. Made up of polysaccharides and flavonoids, it also contains mucilage, a dewy substance with skin-softening and antioxidant properties. Squalane is derived from squalene, a hydrocarbon that is naturally produced by our bodies to maintain moisture in our skin. It also boosts cell regeneration and allows other ingredients to absorb more efficiently into skin. Our squalane is plant-based.
